Manage Your Plan



In CAD ROOMS, you can manage your workspace subscription directly from the Billing & Plans section. Whether you’re on the Team Plan free trial, a paid subscription, or considering an upgrade to the Business Plan, you have full control over your billing and plan management.

Accessing Billing & Plans

  1. Go to your Workspace Settings.
  1. Click Billing & Plans in the left sidebar.
  1. Here you can view:
      • Current plan (Team, Business or Enterprise).
      • Trial status and remaining days (if applicable).
      • Payment method and billing cycle.

Available Plans

  • Team Plan → For small teams of up to 5 editors. Includes collaboration tools, CAD viewing, version history, and essential file management.
  • Business Plan → For growing teams with 5+ editors. Adds advanced workflows like ECO Management, CAD Diffing, File Release Management, and Audit Logs.
  • Enterprise Plan → Custom solutions built on Business Plan, with extra features like SSO, custom integrations, compliance certifications, and 24/7 premium support.

Managing Your Subscription

🔼 Upgrade

  • If you’re on the Team Plan, you can upgrade to Business Plan at any time.
    • Important: The Team Plan supports a maximum of 5 seats, while Business Plan requires at least 5 seats. If your workspace has fewer than 5 users, you’ll be billed for the 5-seat minimum.
  • When upgrading, billing is adjusted immediately to the new plan.

🔽 Downgrade

  • From Business Plan, you may downgrade to Team Plan.
    • Note: The Team Plan supports a maximum of 5 seats. If your workspace has more than 5 active members, you’ll need to reduce the member count before downgrading.
  • Any features exclusive to Business (e.g., ECO Release) will no longer be available.

Cancel

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time.
  • Your workspace will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle

Managing Seats

  • Team Plan → Maximum of 5 seats.
    • If your workspace already has 5 members, you cannot add more without upgrading.
  • Business Plan → Minimum of 5 seats, with the flexibility to add more as your team grows.
  • You can adjust the number of seats directly in the Billing & Plans page:
    • Click Add Seats to increase capacity.
    • Click Reduce Seats to lower capacity (not below the minimum required).
  • Seat changes affect your billing from the next cycle.
💡 Tip: Always align your seat count with your active team size to optimize costs.

Best Practices

  • Use the Team Plan trial to evaluate CAD ROOMS with your team.
  • If your organization grows beyond 5 members, plan to upgrade to Business Plan.
  • Download invoices regularly for accounting or compliance needs.
